
A call to anyone who may have witnessed a man shouting at drivers whilst carrying a weapon thought to have been an Axe.
Police have opened an investigating after the incident in Watford and are appealing for witnesses and information.
At 8:50pm Tuesday March 2nd a man was seen in Whippendell Road shouting at occupants of a passing vehicle and waving a weapon – described as an axe.
Police arrived with an armed response unit to the scene and a man was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and a public order offence.
Luckily no one was hurt during the incident.
Detective Constable Amy Tilson, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries to establish the circumstances around the incident are continuing at this time. We are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or who may have captured dash cam footage, to please come forward.”

He has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
