At 3pm a team of Armed officers from BHC were seen between the Dome Roundabout and the Cemetary.
A police spokesperson said: “Police are currently in Berry Avenue, Watford, following reports that an arrow had been shot at the window of a home.
“No-one has been injured and a 45 year old man from Watford has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He remains in police custody at this time.
“This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.”
