A man has been charged following an incident in Hemel Hempstead at the weekend.
At about 5.30pm on Sunday (30 January), police received several phone calls reporting that a man who was allegedly obstructing traffic on Leighton Buzzard Road and acting in an aggressive manner towards drivers.
John Dell, aged 60, of Springfield, Gossoms End, Berkhamsted has been charged with drunk and disorderly and wilful obstruction of the highway.
No vehicles were damaged during the incident and no one was injured.
He is due to appear at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 1 March.
