
The victims, a woman in her 40s and a woman in her 50s, were walking along the pavement together when they were approached by a man.
He began racially abusing them before threatening them both. The women carried on walking and the man also walked away.
PC Karen Hutchinson, who is investigating, said: “This incident left both women feeling understandably intimidated. They were not physically injured but were left feeling upset by their ordeal.
