Watford actress Sue Cleaver who has played Eileen Grimshaw since 2002, is reportedly set to appear on the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
After two years in Wales due to Covid-19 travel and filming restrictions, Ant and Dec are taking the hit ITV show back to the Australian jungle.
An ITV spokesperson said: ‘We’ll announce our line-up nearer the show’s transmission.’
A number of Watford stars have appeared on the reality show in the past – Naughty Boy in 2021, Myles Stephenson of Rak-Su in 2019.
Watford celebs Bradley Walsh, Anthony Joshua, Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, Vinnie Jones, and Olajide Olatunji have not been on the down under show.
Speaking to The Sun, a source explained: “Sue is a very much-loved Street legend and the bosses are delighted to have her as part of the line-up this year.
“She will be a brilliant addition, and is looking forward to really pushing out of her comfort zone and challenging herself in the jungle.”
Other stars named as possible contestants include radio DJ Chris Moyles, former Love Island star Olivia Attwood, comedian Seann Walsh and Hollyoaks star Owen Warner.
Sue made her debut on Corrie in 2000 first starred in Dinner Ladies. She has been a firm favourite on the show as single-mum Eileen who works the radio for Street Cars.
