Emergency services were called to Lawn Lane on Sunday (5 February) at around 5.45pm following reports of a collision between a bicycle and a Volkswagen Golf.
A temporary road closure was put in place to allow first responders access. Sadly, the cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which were not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the Golf remained at the scene to assist police with their investigations.
Sergeant David McIlwhan, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “We are investigating the circumstances of the collision and I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to please get in touch.
“I am especially keen to hear from anyone who might have caught the collision, or the events leading up to it, on dash cam. If you were driving through the area at the time and have a dash cam fitted to your vehicle, please check it and get in contact if you spot something that might help us.”
