Continued: Armed Forces Elaborate email Scam for Quart of a Million Funds

Scammers use photos of Army Sergeant in Elaborate Quart of a Million email scamThe photos this appears to be of an important serious nature, from good authority.

We WatNews were interested to see a curios email from a Army Sgt. Ann Leigh Hester.

Following our first story about an email sent to WatfordLondon from supposed Army Sgt. Ann Leigh Hester. first email story here

Last year (January 2015 – December 2015) ActionFraud received on average 8,000 reports per month, with 96,699 people reporting that they had received a phishing scam.

We replied and have now had a new lengthy reply back.. so what did they write !!

Email time stamp and sender:

We guessed there would be a reply, but never expected another long typed email containing 17 paragraphs with a total of 641 words.

First of all it starts all polite hoping we have good health and hoping we promise to help and that there is nothing to worry about.. !!

Now after a few lines it gets exciting when they write "i have made every necessary arrangement that will lead to safe delivery of the cash box". ooh that sounds good i'm thinking a personal delivery.

They continue with "i chose to use you as partner in this deal because am not permitted to send package down to any of my friends nor relatives since am still in the military camp outside USA"

Now i'm thinking HAHA this is to clarify why they want help with a stranger, and almost imply that all this is legal that way.. All these things they do to hooking us into believing them.

HA HA it really gets silly when I read "if i eventually send out any thing to the USA it will be suspicious and i will be queried for the action". again making it sound almost legit but sending it anywhere I thought would be suspicious if not in own country. Unless this hints at some TAX evasion..

so after telling me "Please put away fear or doubt" and "you will not regret" it then goes on to ask us to send contact information, and then "forward it to the Diplomat to enable them proceed to your country for the final delivery of the cash box to your door "

Now we are making the decision to reply , do we use real name and address ?

ActionFraud have advised us not to reply to anymore emails, and block them and ignore future emails, as by replying gives them knowlegde this email address can be targeted further in future.

The National Fraud Investigation Bureau will only deal with it when a crime has been commited.
