England vs Germany UEFA Women’s EURO Final 2022

England will play Germany at Wembley Stadium for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 finals Trophy on Sunday 31 July.

England got through after beating Sweden 4-0.

Germany beat France on Wednesday night (July 27).

It will be the Lionesses’ first appearance in a final since Euro 2009. If they win, their first ever major trophy.

The Lionesses have been staying at £118-a-night four-star hotel The Lensbury Resort in Teddington, London.

But on the Day will be at the Grove Hotel before heading form Wembley Stadium.

Germany: Frohms; Gwinn, Hendrich, Hegering, Rauch; Magull, Oberdorf, Däbritz; Huth, Popp, Brand

Martina Voss-Tecklenburg, Germany coach: “It will be an incredible final. We will be playing at Wembley in front of 80 or 90,000 people and most of them for England and against us, but we understand that and we accept the challenge. England have been incredible in this tournament every single game for dynamism, lots of goals, and they are so incredibly confident. It will be a great football feast.”

Beth Mead, England forward: “We’ve got to believe in our ability and stick to our game plan. We’ve done that really well going through this tournament. We’ve had a few rough patches – that’s football – but we’ve believed in our ability. The full 23 in this squad have been exceptional.”
