Fans eagerly brought along their football memorabilia to be signed by Hoddle.

A book now has two signed autographs by Glenn Hoddle

A woman presented a book titled “Spurred to Success,” which had been signed by Hoddel years earlier, and now had the opportunity to get it signed again.

Additionally, attendees had the chance to win 1983 English team shirts through a raffle, which Hoddle himself later signed.

The auction was supported by Alex from the British Sports Museum, who provided several valuable items for bidding.

The auction’s highlight was a framed photo signed by football stars Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane, which fetched a final bid of £100.

Grant proudly announced, “The proceeds are going to Heart UK to support cholesterol research and awareness.”

During the Q&A session, Hoddle was asked some fun questions, including “Ronaldo or Messi?” he replied, “Messi.” Another light-hearted moment was when he was asked, “Coke or Pepsi?” which had the audience in stitches.

Glenn Hoddle mentioned how he suffered a heart attack on October 27, 2018, while at the BT Sport studios. He collapsed and his heart stopped for about 60 seconds before he was revived by a sound engineer who performed CPR. Hoddle was then taken to the hospital, where he underwent successful heart surgery and has since been recovering.

The event was a resounding success, bringing together football fans for a great cause and creating unforgettable memories.

The amount raised will follow, though hiring a football star is not cheap, it has shone a spotlight on the event raising money for a good cause.
