Video of park attack in Gadebridge Park left Teenager hospitalised Hertfordshire Police make appeal

Hertfordshire Police are requesting individuals who may possess phone footage of a park attack, resulting in a teenage male sustaining a head injury, to come forward.

On Friday, just before 2pm, Hertfordshire Police received reports that a 19-year-old male had been stabbed at Gadebridge Park in Hemel Hempstead. The victim was subsequently transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The police believe that the assault was the result of an altercation between the victim and a group of males who were known to each other.

Investigations into the incident are still ongoing, and the police have urged any witnesses to provide information.

As the inquiries continue, there is a police presence in the vicinity of the park.

“We are aware that there is phone footage of the incident in circulation and would appeal to anyone who has possession of this to contact us immediately”, it said.

On the shared tweet it reads “It is possible that the victim might be a traveller & it’s connected to the assault of a black girl in Ashford in Middlesex.”

A Herts Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and the victim was taken to hospital. It is believed that those involved are known to each other and officers are currently searching for the suspects with assistance from the police helicopter.
