Major Event in St Albans 5K Marathon roads congested warning

After what has been a very difficult year for everyone. ‘Active Training World’ are thrilled the event is back launching the St Albans Half Marathon in 2021.

Due to Covid-19, the VIP areas, the Runners Village, Fun Run and Stage will all be removed from this year’s event.

A decision has also been made not to give out a finisher t-shirt at the event to reduce environmental impact, but instead to plant a tree in a sustainable forest in the UK. 

The 5K participants are all over the age of 11 and takes you on a route around Verulamium Park.

• Distances: Half Marathon 13.1 miles/21K (1 lap) | 5K
• Minimum Age:Half Marathon – 17yrs | 5K – 11yrs – ages as at 13/06/2021
