
Armed officers and the police helicopter tracked down a 14-year-old boy and was arrested.
A man has been charged with kidnap, assault, threats to kill, and stalking following an incident in Hemel Hempstead.
Police were called at around 7.40am on Tuesday 4 May to report a possible kidnap in the town.
Officers responded immediately and at just before 8am safely located and stopped a vehicle containing a man and woman, who were known to each other, on Breakspear Way.
Corneliu Bratosin, 54, of Rowan Avenue, High Wycombe was arrested and subsequently charged with kidnap, assault, threats to kill and stalking.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at remand court later today (Friday 7 May).
This follows reports of St Albans Road being closed westbound in Hemel Hempstead when police dealt with the incident, resulting in congestion between Green Lane and Maylands Avenue.
