A woman has been found dead in “unexplained” circumstances at a house in Leavesden.
At around 4pm Police cars and an Ambulance were seen on the Harris Road and cordoned off.
Police Scientific Forensics van was there outside one of the houses. Five other police cars, and a police van.
“Her next of kin have been informed,” police said.
“At this time, the death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious.”
A neighbour said the woman had lived there for many years and not on her own. They used to go to Francis combe. We do not know why at the moment but the officer said it is going and will be there all night.
