As part of enquiries to trace missing Viktor Vaimel, 41, Police dive teams searched the River Chess in Rickmansworth for clues to his disappearance.
He was last seen in the town on Saturday (3 July). Officers think Viktor may have been seeking shelter during the poor weather and could be hiding in a shed or outbuilding. He has links to Tottenham in North London and often travels by train.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen him since then and asked to call 101 or if with him 999. quoting ISR 421 of 3 July.
He is described as 5ft 10in tall with short brown hair and blue eyes. Possibly wearing blue jeans with a white T-shirt, white trainers and a black jacket. Viktor is a smoker and is considered to be vulnerable.
