Traffic News: Temporary Traffic control (multi-way signals) at both ends of Vicarage Road next to Watford General Hospital to last up until 16th & 24th June.
Repair work is being carried out by UK Power Networks and we were told “if it was left, it could cause an explosion which would take out the whole road, and possibly part of the hospital” alleged the repair man parked up there waiting for another contractor.
Traffic had builtup back to Willow Lane, and in the opposite direction towards Whippendell Road, and then the third way to Whiggenhall Road. (project ref: UE000307578Z)
There seems to be no update from Herts Highways on this. But there is Resurfacing scheduled.
