Travellers who had been for over a week done a runner just hours before eviction papers were granted to Watford Borough Council.

Today the courts had granted a warant for eviction at around 2pm. Council were soon to take action and were at the site before 3pm. Though the travellers had done a runner at dawn.

New measures are being taken to prevent this happening again at this site, as new locks and New

concrete bricks with be embeded into the road entrance.

It is believed that at night, travellers would park a caravan against the gates to prevent police from gaining easy access.

Travellers left a deluge if rubbish

Travellers who had been camped up where the Bill Everette used the land as rubbish waste dump on an industrial scale.

Fridges, Car Tyreers, Metal fencing, and even left a wrecked caravan believed to be stolen.

In Oxhey Travellers were moved on , one female resident confronted them.
