Three people have been taken to hospital after a horrifying crash involving a marked police car and a Volvo in West Ealing.

Two male police officers and the driver of the Volvo were injured during the incident on Sunday morning (August 6).

The incident happened shortly before 7.25am and debris was sprawled across Uxbridge Road, at the junction with Dane Road, outside Ashby's pub.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "The London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade are in attendance.

Their injuries are not being treated as life threatening and non-life changing.

"The Met's Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed as a matter of course."
