
Tragedy in Hemel Hempstead: Woman Charged with Murder of Toddler
On Sunday, April 14th, police responded to a medical emergency at an address in Hemel Hempstead at 4:40 pm. The ambulance service was also called to the scene. Armed police were dispatched with specialized first-aid equipment as a precaution.
Sadly, a two-year-old child was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment but passed away shortly after.
Shilyrand Charigwati, a 29-year-old resident of Juniper Square in Hemel Hempstead, has been charged with murder in connection with the incident.
She appeared in court at Hatfield Remand Court on Tuesday, April 16th, and will remain in custody until her next hearing at St Albans Crown Court on Thursday, April 18th.
