21-Year-Old Charged with Dealing Hard Drugs Offenses and Leathal Weapon Possession

Undercover Police caught and arrested a young hard drugs dealer in possession of lethal Weapons during a Covert Police Operation!

Watford Police’s Scorpion Unit has made a significant arrest that could potentially curb drug trafficking and illegal weapon possession in the Watford area.

In a covert operation, plainclothes officers noticed a man acting suspiciously in Reeds Crescent and attempted to approach him. However, the man tried to evade them, leading to a chase on foot that ended in his capture in Prince Street.

Upon inspection, the suspect was found to be carrying a substantial amount of suspected Class A drugs, including cocaine and heroin, along with a large knife. The officers took him into custody on charges of possession with the intent to supply and possession of a bladed article.

A subsequent search of the suspect’s home address in St Albans Road, Watford, under Section 18, led to the discovery and seizure of multiple items, including 30 mobile phones, an imitation firearm, a machete, and suspected Class A (cocaine and heroin) and Class B (cannabis) drugs.

The 21-year-old suspect from Watford has been charged with drug supply offenses and possession of a weapon.

Jaden Gray, aged 21 and from Watford, was charged with:

• Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine)
• Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin)
• Possession with intent to supply Class B drugs (cannabis)
• Possession of a knife in a public place
• Resisting a constable in execution of duty
• Possession of criminal property

He appeared before Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, March 30, where he was remanded in custody. His next hearing is scheduled for May 2 at St Albans Crown Court.
