The BBC has published its annual report, which includes details of the highest paid stars. Gary Lineker is once again the broadcaster’s biggest earner, taking home between £1,350,000 and £1,354,999 in 2022-23. Zoe Ball is second on the list, earning between £980,000 and £984,999.

The list does not include the salaries of stars who are paid through BBC Studios or independent production companies. This means that some of the BBC’s biggest stars, such as Claudia Winkleman, Tess Daly, Graham Norton, and Alex Jones, are not included on the list.
Some of the stars on the list saw an increase in their pay from the previous year, while others saw their pay decrease or remain the same.
The annual report also includes salary details for bosses, with director-general Tim Davie taking home between £525,000 and £529,999 in 2022-23.
