Scammers use photos of Army Sergeant in Elaborate Quart of a Million email scam

Scammers use photos of Army Sergeant in Elaborate Quart of a Million email scamThe photos appears to be of an important serious nature, from good authority.

An email sent to WatNews had have us curious if it was really from an Army Sgt. Ann Leigh Hester.

As you can see from the photos this appears to be of an important serious nature, from good authority.

At first when I saw the first three words " Hello my dearest, Thanks for your kind response as a matter of fact, i am very happy to read your mail," I immediately thought this was one of those scam romance Letters after for a response which would confirm an active email address. Especially as I do not recall having ever sent an email, yet alone to a soldier out in the war zone who is not from Watford.

So now I am wondering what is the lengthy email all about, what scam are they trying!!

An email letter with nine paragraphs of 850 words appears legit.

So upon reading and it was not until the 5th paragraph that I have an idea of what the scam is, and realize it is one that used to be around in 2009 although I not seen for a while but it was back.

It was a new version of the 'they need to get money out and into a bank abroad', not sounding as dodgy as the past versions, but this time more tugging for compassionate support because it was attached to a realistic profile of a female soldier.

The 5th paragraph starts "$2,750,000 ( Two million, seven hundred and fifty thousand united states dollars) I am seeking your assistance to evacuate my share of the money out of this country $2,750,000 ( Two million, seven hundred and fifty thousand united states dollars) I am seeking your assistance to evacuate my share of the money out of this country ".

So I have replied asking "Hi, Everybody needs help, what will you need to get the money to here in the uk?"

I'm expecting a request for Bank details, or paypal. What do you think?
