
A gang of men wearing balaclavas attacked a property with machetes and baseball bats in Watford on Sunday Afternoon.
The incident happened at around 6:30pm in Whippendell Road. Four to five men were seen targeting the address smashed windows, which is understood to be a residential property.
Herts Police said it happened after an earlier “verbal altercation” in Rose Gardens, between 2.30pm and 2.50pm, which saw a man threatened with a weapon.
Armed police and a dog unit can be seen attending.
Safer Neighbourhood Team officers were in the area on Thursday reassuring residents and seeking witnesses.
