Giri has overcome a fear of public speaking to reach this point in her journey.

Giri’s fear of public speaking also know as ‘Glossophobia’, began when she was in the eighth grade. She was asked to read her homework aloud in class, but she stuttered and shook in front of the class. This experience left her feeling embarrassed and anxious, and she avoided public speaking whenever possible.

With glossophobia impacting 75% of the population, Pragati believes that schools should teach students effective public speaking skills from an early age, helping them to tackle this fear and develop vital communication abilities.

Pragati interviewed by BBC three counties.

As she got older, Giri’s fear of public speaking began to hold her back from achieving her goals. She wanted to take leadership roles in school and her community, but she was too afraid to speak up. She also struggled in her studies because she was afraid to ask questions in class.

Giri’s fear of public speaking reached a breaking point when she was in college. She was required to give a presentation in one of her classes, but she was so nervous that she could barely speak. She ended up getting a bad grade on the presentation, and she realized that she needed to do something to conquer her fear.

Giri started by reading books and articles about public speaking. She also joined a Toastmasters club, where she practiced giving speeches in front of a supportive audience. With time and practice, Giri’s fear of public speaking began to fade.

Today, Giri is no longer afraid to speak up. She is a confident public speaker who uses her voice to advocate for important causes. She is also a role model for young women who are struggling with their own fears.

Giri’s journey to overcome her fear of public speaking is an inspiration to us all. It shows us that anything is possible if we are willing to face our fears and work hard to overcome them.

Giri is also a civil engineer.

In addition to her work on the Miss Great Britain pageant, Giri is also a civil engineer. She is passionate about encouraging more young women to pursue careers in STEM fields. She has led successful TikTok challenges at secondary schools, where she has spoken to young girls about the possibilities within civil engineering. She has also challenged them to create short TikTok videos promoting civil engineering to their peers.

Giri is an inspiration to young women everywhere. She is a strong and confident woman who is not afraid to speak her mind. She is also a role model for young women who are interested in pursuing careers in STEM subjects.

We wish Giri the best of luck in the Miss Hertfordshire pageant. We know that she will represent her county with grace and determination.
