Housing Block vandalised by abusive graffiti Hooligans

High Rise flats on the Meriden has been vandalised by a “abosolute bunch of scum”

The post said “I hope the cameras work and catch whoever did this! Disgusting human beings, we have to live in these flats, God your parents must be so proud of you”

The woman added “Some Absolute scum living on this estate now”

Another resident commented “I could not believe this when I got home last night. I have lived in these flats for over 28 years and it has never been as bad as it is now. This is absolutely terrible and something needs to be done before it gets worst. I hope who ever did this gets caught”

“We are paying rent but the building looks run down and neglected, the lifts are constantly breaking, roofs leaking, damp in some flats and the list goes on plus there no safety!” Said another

another wrote “I feel sorry for the cleaners”

A tenant said “They smashed bottles smirnoff ice and prosecco which were swept up from the 1st floor, but Bern told to leave the artwork for Watford Community Housing Landlords”

Another replied “Last weekend it was bottles and food tipped everywhere all over the 17th floor”

With the Meriden Estate having recently had lots of new blocks of flats and bungalows added, is this the outcome that is likely to succumb at Ascot Road Towers?

Mayor Peter Taylor is against the government housing targets for Watford.

A brick building by the Munden clothes bank has also been spray painted”
