
Metropolitan Underground line closure this Weekend February
The whole of the METROPOLITAN LINE is planned to close and there will be no service over this coming weekend Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February.
Tfl website says “We’re transforming the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. When the work is done we’ll be able to run trains more reliably to make journeys faster and more comfortable.”
Our programme to improve London Underground is the biggest in 60 years. Each Tube line is being overhauled.
An alternative is Watford Junction train station located in Clarendon Road, Station Rd, Watford WD17 1EU
Watford Junction – Carpenders Park – Harrow & Wealdstone – Wembley Central – Stonebridge Park – Willesden Junction – Queen’s Park – South Hampstead – Euston London NW1 2RT.
Watford is the last stop in the north-western part of the London Underground in Zone 7.
The next stop is Croxley Station.
