Possible Identification and Next Steps: While formal identification through fingerprint or visual means is not possible due to time and river conditions, authorities believe they have strong evidence it’s Ezedi based on clothing and belongings found on the body. The coroner will work with police to confirm identity through DNA testing and dental records.

Attack Victim Recovering: The 31-year-old woman injured in the attack is thankfully stable and no longer sedated, though still hospitalized. Police hope to speak to her soon to aid the investigation.

Appreciation for Public Support: Commander Jon Savell expressed gratitude to the public for their overwhelming support during the search for Ezedi. Every piece of information provided was thoroughly pursued.
