
Detectives investigating the murder of a teenager on sunday has been named.
17ry Aren Mali, from Kenley, Croydon, died from fatal stab wounds.
Police were called shortly before 7pm on Sunday, 29 October, to reports of a seriously injured male in North End, Croydon.
Officers found a male aged about 17 years old, suffering serious stab injuries.
Officers gave first aid before the arrival of the London Ambulance Service, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Aren’s next of kin have been informed and have agreed to release his identity.
Formal identification has not taken place, but the post-mortem examination will commence on the afternoon of Tuesday, 31 October, at Croydon Mortuary.
The murder investigation continues, led by officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
