
This is the moment smoke caught pouring out of a G4S van in Watford town centre.
A video clip shows clouds of white smoke emitting from the vehicle while it was parked on the High Street, outside Primark and Metro Bank.
The clip also shows a Watford Police officers assisting the van driver.
The incident took place at around 2.50pm on Tuesday afternoon.
A G4S spokesperson has confirmed the smoke was not caused by a fire within the van. “it was caused by a technical malfunction, which activated a security feature on the van to prevent robbers from stealing it.”
