The family of Andrew Jellis, a 49 year old from Hemel Hempstead, have paid tribute to him following his sudden death on 1 February.
Emergency services were called to Thumpers in Hemel Hempstead where Andrew had been trapped under his car.
He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have said in a statement: “Andrew was the most incredible, kind and loving son, partner, dad and grandad.
We loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.”
Police are currently conducting a manslaughter investigation into the circumstances around the collision, and anyone with information is being asked to come forward.
A 30-year-old man from Hatfield was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. He has been bailed pending further inquiries.
