Last Wednesday (22 February), Police from Watford raided an address acting on intelligence.
Upon entering the Hallam Close property, they made a significant seizure of suspected Class A and Class B drugs.
Among the drugs confiscated were a large quantity of cocaine, a large amount of cannabis, nitrous oxide cannisters, several mobile phones and a knife.
A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has since been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
The operation is part of the ongoing efforts to tackle drug crime in the area and to ensure the safety of the community.
Sergeant Phil Smith, from the North Watford Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am pleased that we have prevented a substantial amount of drugs from getting onto the streets. Our investigation remains ongoing at this time.
“Drugs and associated criminality can have a hugely detrimental impact on the local community and we are committed to doing all we can to tackle this. We get a lot of our intelligence regarding drugs thanks to vigilant members of the public reporting suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods, such as the cultivation of drugs or drug dealing.
