A 35-year-old man went missing since Monday morning.
Herts Police posted “We are sad to share that a body believed to be that of missing Daniel Chant was found in the Chandler’s Cross area earlier this afternoon (Wednesday 18 September).”
Daniel had been reported missing from his home in Croxley Green on Monday 16 September.
Formal identification has yet to take place but Daniel’s family have been informed and they wish to extend their thanks to everyone that searched for him as well as shared appeals on social media.
Officers are not treating the death as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
Daniel’s family family ask that they are given privacy to mourn their loss.
Our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.
Daniel is described as white, 6ft2in tall, with cropped brown hair.
He is of slim build and has a tattoo of the word ‘blessed’ across the front of his neck.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans and possibly a CBS logo T-shirt.
