Police were alerted at around 3.50pm yesterday (Thursday 1 June) to a report that a motorbike had been stolen.
Officers including the police helicopter responded and carried out a search of the area.
Our reporter caught this on camera of several Police cars heading down Tolpits Lane towards the Croxley Moors. Also observing the NAPS Police search helicopter circling for about an hour over Croxley, and the Hollywell estate searching of the area from the air.
Two 17-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of theft and dangerous driving. Both have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Watford Intervention Inspector Matthew Langley said: “Officers responded quickly to this incident and were able to recover the motorbike and return it to its rightful owner.
