Motorcycle Stolen Twice in Two Months, International Student Fears for Safety

Ghayour Hussain, an international student from Pakistan who moved to the UK, has had his motorcycle stolen twice in the past two months.

The first time, he found it a few days later in someone’s backyard, but the lock had been broken and the battery was dead. The second time, the motorcycle has not been found.

After posting on facebook, a local posted a photo of the moped dumped in Adefield. Although it has since gone.

Hussain is concerned about his safety and the safety of his property in Hemel Hempstead. He says that he never had any problems with his motorcycle in Pakistan, where he rode it for 10 years without it being stolen. He is now wondering if Hemel Hempstead is a safe place to live.

“I don’t know what to do,” Hussain said. “I’m scared to leave my motorcycle anywhere, but I need it to get to work. I’m also worried that the thieves will come back and try to steal something else.”

Hussain has reported the thefts to the police, but he says that they have not been very helpful. He says that they have not taken any fingerprints or offered any advice on how to prevent his motorcycle from being stolen again.

“I feel like the police are not taking this seriously,” Hussain said. “They just told me to file a report and that’s it. I don’t know what else to do.”

Hussain’s story is not unique. Motorcycle theft is a growing problem in the UK. In 2022, there were over 50,000 motorcycles stolen in England and Wales.

If your motorcycle is stolen, it is important to report it to the police immediately. You should also contact your insurance company.

Hussain hopes that by sharing his story, he can raise awareness of the problem of motorcycle theft and help other people to protect their bikes. He also hopes that the police will take his case more seriously and do more to catch the thieves.

There are a number of things that motorcycle owners can do to protect their bikes from theft. These include:

  • Using a strong lock
  • Parking in a well-lit area
  • Registering their bike with the police
  • Installing a tracking device
