A serving Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) has been charged with outraging public decency.
Video footage shared on social media appeared to show the PCSO performing a sex act on a park bench to material on his phone.
PCSO 7131 Kevin Phillips, attached to the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command, will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 1 April.

The charge relates to a video which was circulated online and came to the attention of police shortly before 11:30pm on Wednesday, 30 March. The officer was found and arrested the following day.
The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards is leading this investigation and the PCSO has been suspended from duty.

PC Swaleh Chaudhry will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 1 April charged with:
– one count of voyeurism;
– one count of possession of extreme pornography;
– three counts of making an indecent image of a child.
He was arrested at an address in Wandsworth on the afternoon of Wednesday, 30 March.
