Marcie Reid, a 29-year-old who spent her childhood in foster care, was crowned Miss Hertfordshire 2024 on July 21st.

The prestigious event at the Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club, where Marcie emerged victorious among a group of talented and inspiring contestants.

Marcie will represent Hertfordshire at the Miss Great Britain Beauty Pageant Finals scheduled to be held in Leicester on the 18th of October 2024. As Miss Hertfordshire, she aims to raise awareness about the issues faced by care leavers and inspire others to achieve their dreams.
