Watford Community Family Funday Draws Crowds Despite challenging weather

Watford residents and visitors braved the rain on Saturday, August 5th to attend the Watford Community Family Funday at the Bandstand in Cassiobury Park.

The event was organized by KEL Gospel Ministries, Watford, and featured a variety of activities for people of all ages, including bouncy castles, face painting, games, and live music.

The event also marked the launch of several new charities by Host Pastor Humphrey of KEL Gospel Ministries, including Eternity Community Hub, Eternity Training School, Eternity Orphanage, and Eternity Food bank/ Soup kitchen. These charities are all aimed at providing free services to the community.

In attendance at the event were Deputy Mayor Cllr Aga Dychton, Watford Borough Council Chairman – Cllr Simon Feldman, Watford Borough Council Vice Chairman – Cllr Dawn Allen-Willismson and Deputy Labour Group Leader Cllr Favour Ezeifedi, members of KEL Ministries, and many more supporters.

Everyone who attended the event seemed to enjoy themselves, with children particularly enjoying the variety of activities on offer. The rain did not dampen the spirits of the attendees, who were determined to have a good time.

A big thank you goes to Cllr Dawn Allen-Williamson and all of the organizers for putting on such a spectacular event. It was a great success, and it is clear that the community really enjoyed themselves.
