Anthony Joshua spotted in town as boxer opens new shop in Watford

Anthony Joshua was back in Watford on Sunday (January 30) for the opening of a new shop.

The boxing champ, who grew up on the Meriden estate, was giving his support to the Ngorli Community Interest Company as it opened a new facility in St Albans Road.

The group supports children and families in Watford. Joshua wants to help “his peoples”

The two posed for a photo which was later published by Mr Taylor which was posted on social media.

Great to bump into Anthony Joshua at the opening of a new shop on St Albans Road this evening. He does so much to support the local community in Watford.

“Good luck to everyone involved in the new Ngorli Community Interest Company facility. They have been doing brilliant work at their Saturday School and this new premises at 316 St Albans Road should help them to do even more.”

Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua OBE is a British professional boxer. He is a two-time former unified world heavyweight champion, having held the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO titles from December 2019 to September 2021, and previously between 2016 and June 2019.

Anthony Joshua insists he is ‘happy’ for Dillian Whyte who will earn a career high payday to fight Tyson Fury in April.

The mirror reports “Anthony Joshua has been offered an interim test with either Joe Joyce or Daniel Dubois before taking a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.”
