Classic car enthusiasts are in for a treat as Bovingdon prepares for its second annual Classic Car Show on Sunday 9 July.
The event will be held at Grange Farm in Green Lane, courtesy of farm owners Rob and Andrew Hillier, on a five-acre field. Visitors can look forward to a variety of classic cars, motorcycles and commercials that are over 20 years old.
Community Events, the organising team, is working on screening the British Grand Prix from Silverstone during the show. The event is a fundraiser for the third annual show and to help rebuild the 1st Bovingdon Scouts hut, which will cost around £200,000.
There will be free parking in the neighbouring field opposite the show site. Visitors will also enjoy children’s activities and entertainment throughout the day.
The organising team is currently seeking a big screen to display the British Grand Prix from Silverstone so don’t forget to bring your picnic chairs.
Ley Hill Road/Green Lane entrance from Chesham Road opposite Bovingdon Airfield will be signposted. Marshals will be present on the farm entrance to guide visitors to a parking space.
Car owners can register for £7.50 through Eventbrite while show visitors will pay £2 per person or £5 per family of four on the gate.
