Family Tribute to woman who died alongside pet dog after collision in Croxley Green
Croxley Green, a close-knit community, was struck with grief on the fateful evening of Thursday, September 28th. At approximately 6:15 pm, a tragic collision occurred on Sarratt Road, involving a cherished member of the community, Cheryl Edwards, her loyal pet companion Freddie, and a black Volkswagen Golf.
Cheryl Edwards, at the tender age of 62, tragically departed this world at the very scene of the accident. Alongside her, her beloved pet dog, Freddie.
In a statement, Cheryl’s family said: “Cheryl was an amazingly caring, loving and adventurous mother, nanny and friend. Full of joy and laughter, Cheryl is loved and will be missed but never forgotten in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.”
As the investigation into this tragic collision continues, the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit urges anyone with information or who witnessed the events of that fateful day to come forward and help shed light on this heartbreaking incident.
