Hemel Hempstead Dog Attack Punctured woman’s stomach left her shaken
A woman in her thirties was walking along Perry Green when she encountered another woman and her bulldog. After a brief conversation, the bulldog jumped up at the victim, causing puncture wounds to her stomach.
Hertfordshire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses and information following a dog attack in Hemel Hempstead on Thursday, July 11th, at approximately 7:00 AM.
The police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the dog owner. She is described as a slim white woman, approximately 5’3″ tall, with short grey hair and glasses. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black short-sleeved gilet, a grey long-sleeved t-shirt, black leggings, and brown boots with sheep fleece.
PC Jessica Gonzalez-Green, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
“The incident has understandably left the victim shaken and with a significant injury. I am appealing for the dog owner to please come forward as while she did subsequently attend the victim’s address to check on her welfare, no details were obtained.
“I am also asking for any witnesses who saw what happened to please email me. Thank you.”
