Lotto transformed store leaves regular customers pleasantly surprised

Mike and Nisha Ladwa, owners of the Nisa on Courtlands Drive have transformed the store in North Watford

The store has now a whole new look on par with the COOP or Waitrose, revamping the Courtlands Drive area.

“this is the first time in years that this has been done, even before I took over 6 years ago” says Mike. The previous owner had been there for 26 years.

The Fresh refurb includes new shelves, new clearer signage, and the addition of baskets on wheels.

The most expensive outlay was on the new 3D shop name sign above the entrance. Mike says that “at night the full effect can be seen”

One local influencer posted in a local group “For anyone that hasn’t been into Nisa yet, it’s brilliant 😁 spacious, more room to move around, baskets on wheels for those that need/want as well as normal baskets, bright, light, and well worth a visit 😁👍 #local”

In 2020 the store had been given a National Lottery good causes award for raising over £1.2million.

Local MP Dean Russell handed the National Lottery Good Causes plaque was to the couple.

Mike Ladwa said: “I’m extremely proud that my customers have been able to help raise such a huge amount for good causes, especially given that the money goes to local projects here in Watford and right around the UK. I’ve been a National Lottery retailer since the very first draw, so it means a lot to have been awarded with this plaque – it gives me a real sense of achievement.”
