Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those who have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life…
On the 11th day at the 11th hour of the 11th month – we will remember them.
Remembrance Sunday – Sunday 13 November
Bushey – Cllr Anne Swerling – Bushey War Memorial – starts at 10.55am
Croxley Green
• 1.50pm Parade from Library
• 2:30pm All Saints Church service
Dacorum Hemel Hempstead
• 10.30am Parade will march through town centre on to the War Memorial at St John’s Church, Boxmoor, where wreaths will be laid followed by a church service.
Watford Town Hall, Rickmansworth Road
• 2.15pm parade led by the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire from St Mary’s Church up to the Peace Memorial
• 3pm Peace Memorial
St Mary’s Church, Church Street
• 10.30am service, followed by two minutes silence
All Saints Church, Horseshoe Lane
• 9am service in person and live streamed
• 10.45am Civic Service at the War Memorial High Road Leavesden
St Matthew’s Church, Eastbury Road
• 10.50am Gather at the War Memorial for the Act of Remembrance and 2 minute silence at 11.00
• 11.15am Service of Remembrance in Church
Oxhey Village Green
• 2.15pm Oxhey Village Green Memorial
• 3pm Watford Heath Memorial
St Albans
• 10.50am from the Museum and the Gallery area to the War Memorial near St Peter’s Church.
London Televised
• National Service of Remembrance, held at The Cenotaph in Whitehall
Royal British Legion Club
This year’s Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall will take place on Saturday 12 November 2022 with performances at 2pm and 7pm.
Founded in 1921, the Legion is not just about those who fought in the two World Wars of the last century, but also about those involved in the many conflicts since 1945 and those still fighting for the freedom we enjoy today.
