Emergency Services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision at 10:11am involving multiple vehicles on the A41 between Hemel Hempstead & Kings Langley, approaching the M25 (junction 20).
It has now been published that two lorries and a car were involved.
The A41 is closed off in both directions, are currently in place whilst emergency services work at the scene.
One person who posted the photo above, wrote “I’ve seen 30 emergency vehicles at a guess. I’m with My 7 month old baby and a toddler x okay for now we have snacks etc”
Another posted “there’s 3 air ambulances here”
Herts Fire Control tweeted “Please be aware we are attending an incident on A41 from Two Waters to Kings Langley. All carriageways are closed both ways – Please avoid the area and take alternative routes.”
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service stated: “Firefighters are working to release several injured people from vehicles and assisting the ambulance service with casualty care.”
Apsley looks affected as traffic comes off the A41, and bypassing it. Other drivers are heading to Junction 8 of the M1 and this is also busier.
