Vicarage Road closed to traffic from 9am with increased police numbers at key points.

Todays’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Luton Town (October 23) starts at noon.
This will be the first Herts-Beds derby to be played in front of fans since 16-and-a-half years ago.
Hertfordshire Police and Watford FC working closely together
A significant police presence at the fixture to keep public safety; in & around the stadium and the town centre and stations.
Following a clash outside the corner off-licence, police moved several of their vans into Vicarage Road to get crowds further up towards the stadium.
“With the majority of genuine well-behaved football fans, supporters attending, a minority maybe intent on acting in an anti-social manner.”
New designated stadium exit routes will be put into practice.
Home supporters will leave the stadium via one of two routes, whilst Luton Town fans will use a different, third route. This aims to keep the two sets of fans apart, avoiding any potential violent conflict.
Early arrival at The Vic is encouraged, if at all possible.
