24 Storey High Rise Tower Housing and thousands of new homes

Watford Borough Council has granted permission to build 2,470 new homes, with a draft of 14,000 new homes.
400 in the Riverwell scheme (2015-2035), 500 in Sydney Road, and around 500 in Ascot Road. Of the 2,470 approved homes, 920 have been built.

In July 2017 Orion achieved planning for a mixed-use development led by 485 new homes, including 170 affordable. This new community will include cafes, shops, and space dedicated for community use, along a pedestrianised boulevard including woodland gardens, a tree-lined walk and landscaped areas.

Car Parking: A total of 206 spaces, 15 of them for disabled and 5 for visitors.

Also in the plans are 34 active and 4 passive electric vehicle charging points.

The scheme also provides secure cycle storage enclosure, enough for 1 cycle per apartment.
