England wakes up to Snow & travel disruptions
After overnight snow, some parts of the M25 were gridlocked, J23 South Mimms to J15 Enfield both directions.
The Met Office has issued a Yellow warning of ice affecting London & South East England.
Snow and freeezing weather may cause disruption at airports. Passengers are advised to check flight status with their airline – and also local travel conditions – before departing for the airport.
Train operators advise people not to travel if they don’t have to.
“Herts highways say snow falling on some cold road surfaces, we have our gritters on standby in case further runs are needed.”
