M25 serious crash J17 – J16 Rickmanswroth causing severe delays
The M25 is closed between junctions 16 and 17 anti-clockwise heading towards Heathrow.
At 2pm a Serious Crash between a lorry and a car at J17 A412 Denham Way (Maple Cross) has caused tailbacks to Junction 19 at Watford as the air ambulance attends.
Drivers are leaving the M25 at Junction 20 (Kings Langley) and heading onto Langleybury lane and Saratt lanes are busy as drivers bypass the congestion.
On the other side, there are queues 11-mile queues back to just before J14 (Heathrow).
Emergency services ask drivers to please avoid the area at this time.
Ongoing since 3 pm.
M25 reopens
The M25 has re-opened between junctions 16 and 17 anti-clockwise following the earlier crash.
