Police have launched a murder investigation in Brent after a was been stabbed to death in North West London following a fight outside a bar.
As of Monday, 31 October, Theo Simon, 33, of Gladstone Avenue, Wood Green, was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. Set to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 1 November.
A forensic tent has been seen in the street close to the Aura bar following the attack in the early hours.
Police were called to Harrow Road, Wembley, at 1.50am [GMT] on Sunday, 30 October to reports of a stabbing.
Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS).
A 21-year-old man was found with stab wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died a short time later.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Two men were arrested at the scene in connection with the incident. They have been taken into custody.
Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have been informed and are leading the investigation.
A crime scene has been put in place.
Enquiries are ongoing.
