New five-year plan launches tomorrow for London North West Hospital

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) has recently unveiled its new five-year strategy, titled “Our Way Forward,” with an aim to prioritize quality healthcare for the people of Brent, Ealing, and Harrow.

Northwick Park Hospital is holding a launch event called “Our Way Forward”, LNWH’s new strategy. You will hear from Pippa and the vice-chair Janet Rubin, and watch the new corporate video.

The trust manages four hospitals – Central Middlesex, Ealing, Northwick Park, and St. Mark’s – and intends to improve hospital services in these areas.

The strategy outlines four key objectives, which include the provision of high-quality care, improving employment conditions, enhancing non-clinical services, and building effective partnerships. The trust’s new vision will support all these objectives – quality at our HEART.

LNWH has placed quality healthcare at the forefront of its strategy and is committed to achieving its objectives over the next five years. By doing so, the trust aims to offer improved hospital care and services to the local community.

“We chose quality at our heart because our local people told us they want a high-quality experience whenever they see us. Our teams tell us our values of honesty, equity, accountability, responsibility, and teamwork, are essential to the way we work together.

“Our Way Forward was a real team effort with over 3,000 contributions from patients, partners, and teammates. I want to thank everyone who got involved.”

Wembley Central councillor and chair of the north west London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, Ketan Sheth, said: “We are fortunate to have a local NHS trust that realises it can only understand its purpose, strengths, and weaknesses through the perspectives of those who use its services.

“Our Way Forward demonstrates this clearly and shows LNWH is committed to working with partners for the benefit of our local people.”
