The reopening of the Watford Pond Post Office is a major boost for the local community, as it provides a vital service for residents and businesses.
The branch offers a wide range of services, including postage, banking, and bill payments. It is also a popular place for people to post their parcels and collect pensions.
Watford MP Dean Russell tweeted “Wonderful community celebration today to officially re-open The Pond Post Office after a devastating fire in April. It was an honour to be invited to cut the ribbon with the Postmaster Mayank Patel and business partner, Ajay Shah.”
The fire caused extensive damage to the building, but thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Post Office team, the branch has been fully restored and is now better than ever.
The Post Office team is delighted to be back in business and is looking forward to serving the Watford community for many years to come.
